AI Disclosure Statement

Humans come first in all of our creative work. As a small publisher, we rely on the skill and creativity of human artists, writers, editors, and designers as the core of our production process.

AI assistance is now embedded in the tools we already use, such as modern creative software, grammar tools, layout programs, image editors, and writing assistants. This makes our work more efficient but also makes abstaining from AI unavoidable.

We use AI as an augmentation utility for tasks such as proofreading, rules cleaning, logic checking, formatting, and layout. AI may also be used for roleplaying and playtesting simulations, including running large-scale calculations instead of creating custom spreadsheets or software as we would have in the past. AI may be used to edit original art, with the artist’s permission, to adapt their work to a project’s layout, coloring, or theme.

This disclosure reflects our commitment to transparency, responsible tool use, and the continued primacy of human creativity in everything we produce.
